When Your Time Comes

I don't love the thought of death. I do love the thought of being in heaven with Jesus, but the thought of dying is scary to me. But I do want to be ready.

You don't have to be old to die. You don't have to be sick to die. You do need to be ready to die.

Jim Elliot a martyred missionary said this, "When your time comes to die, make sure that all you have left to do is die." I love that quote. When Jim Elliot was murdered on a beach in Ecuador by a tribe he gave his life to reach, he was ready!

Is there anything unfinished in your life? Anyone you are not speaking to? Any wrong that you need to make right?

Someone said, "Live as though everyday might be your last. One day you will be right."

Not trying to be morbid. I just think we need to live with eternity in view each day.
