I was just thinking today about what I look for in a leader. There are several leaders in my life and I respect them all. I wouldn’t follow a leader that I could not respect. I began to compile a list of what I looked for in leaders. Here is a list of a few things I look for:
1. I want a leader that does what they say they will do.
2. I want a leader that loves me more than he loves what I do for him.
3. I want a leader who will invest in my growth.
4. I want a leader who is not afraid of hurting my feelings to tell me the truth.
5. I want a leader who is growing his own heart every day.
Now the job is before us. The Bible says that we should treat others, the way we want to be treated right? So now I have to become the leader that I’m looking for.
