Am I an Idiot?

I love this particular verse in the book of Acts.

Acts 4:13 The members of the council were amazed when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, for they could see that they were ordinary men with no special training in the Scriptures. They also recognized them as men who had been with Jesus.

Did you hear that? They were ordinary men who walked in extraordinary power. How could this happen? They had been with Jesus!

The Greek Word for ordinary is "idiotes." Guess what English word we get from this Greek word. That's right "idiot." They considered these men to be idiots, but they could not deny their power.

Maybe God can use you and I.

Remember the formula: One idiot + Jesus = a world changer.
