Two Kinds of Storms

3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, Romans 5:3-4

Can I really rejoice in the middle of problems and trials? The Bible says that I can! How is that possible? How can I rejoice when I’m hurting so badly inside? Here is how: I recognize that this trial is doing something good in me. Though I may not see it at the moment, I trust that everything that comes into my life whether good or bad is filtered through the hands of my heavenly Father who will only let into my life things that will do me good in some way.

There are two kinds of storms:

1. Correcting storms-This is what Jonah faced when he ran from God.
2. Perfecting storms- These are storms that come to help us grow up and be more like Christ.

When I realize that God has control of both of these. I can rejoice. I will rejoice in trials knowing that my destiny is in His hands alone.
