Hot Dog World

Our staff went to our favorite place to go as a staff today, its called “Hot Dog World.” I love to go there for several reasons. First of all I love hot dogs and Hot Dog World makes the best hot dogs that I know of. But truthfully I like the owner as much as I like the hot dogs. Steve Katsadouros is a fine example of what a business owner should be. I have watched Steve for about 14 years now. Here is what I’ve seen.

1. I have watched him insist on quality.

I have seen Steve do this for 14 years. His service and the quality of his food are always at the highest level.

2. I have watched him treat people with respect and courtesy.

Steve has remembered my name and treated me so well for all these years. And it’s not just me, he treats everyone that way.

3. I have watched him give back in the community.

Many times I have been at a hospital or at the side of a grieving family and seen bags of hot dogs “magically” appear. Steve has always been good to hurting people.

It doesn’t hurt matters either that my predecessor at HPHC Homer Jenkins and his wife Donna spent the first dollar in the place when it opened either. In fact the only thing I could gripe about is my expanding waistline, but that is not all Steve’s fault.
